Sorted B cell transcriptomes point towards actively regulated B cell responses during ongoing chronic hepatitis B infections

چکیده
The natural course of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections follows distinct clinical disease phases, characterized by fluctuating levels serum HBV DNA and ALT. immune cells their features that govern these transitions remain unknown. In the current study, we performed RNA sequencing on purified from blood (n = 42) liver 10) healthy controls patients. We found gene expression profiles between patients, as evidenced 190 differentially expressed genes (DEG), but also phenotypes a infection (17–110 DEG each phase). Numerous pathways, including cell receptor pathway were upregulated in when compared to peripheral cells. Further investigation detected suggested an activation during HBeAg seroconversion active regulation signalling liver.

B-Cell Response during Protozoan Parasite Infections
In this review, we discuss how protozoan parasites alter immature and mature B cell compartment. B1 and marginal zone (MZ) B cells, considered innate like B cells, are activated during protozoan parasite infections, and they generate short lived plasma cells providing a prompt antibody source. In addition, protozoan infections induce massive B cell response with polyclonal activation that leads...
متن کاملTreatment of Chronic Hepatitis B with Tenofovir
Background:Tenofovir is among the first-line treatments for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) virus infection. We evaluated the efficacy of Tenofovir in the treatment of Iranian adult patients with CHB. Methods: In a retrospective study, we evaluated 154 HBsAg positive patients referred to Sadoughi hospital in Yazd-Iran for treatment ...
متن کاملSurface protein mutations in chronic hepatitis B patients who received hepatitis B vaccine therapy
Objective (s):The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between vaccine therapy and appearance of mutations in hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) patients. Materials and Methods: 16 patients received the HBV vaccine and another 16 individuals from the control group did not. The surface gene was amplified and directly sequenced from samples...
متن کاملThe Study of Cerumen Hepatitis B Infection in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients by Real-Time PCR
Introduction: The hepatitis B is a viral infection that causes a big problem globally. About 2 billion people worldwide are infected and there are now about 400 million HBV-DNA carriers around the world. HBV infection is the ninth cause of death worldwide and infects about 350 million new cases each year in the world. HBV-DNA can be spotted in different body secretions and fluids, including se...
متن کاملNatural killer cell functional dichotomy in chronic hepatitis B and chronic hepatitis C virus infections.
BACKGROUND & AIMS The phenotypic and functional characteristics of natural killer (NK) cells in chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections are incompletely defined and largely controversial. METHODS We studied NK cell receptor expression, cytotoxic activity, and cytokine production in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from 35 patients with chronic hepatitis C, 22 ...
